7th Annual Festival of the Trees

Grand Boulevard of South Walton will be hosting their seventh annual “Festival of the Trees” from November 22 to December 25. This year, 12 non-profit organizations will compete for prizes totaling $7,000 including Best of Show and People’s Choice. This event is free and open to the public. Moreover, it presents a nice opportunity to see the lights sparkle while enjoying Destin’s “just right” winter weather- not too cold and not too hot!

This year’s participating organizations are: Boys & Girls Clubs of the Emerald Coast, Children in Crisis, Children’s Volunteer Health Network, Emerald Coast Children’s Advocacy Center, Emerald Coast Relay for Life, Emerald Coast Theatre Company, Fisher House of the Emerald Coast, Friends of South Walton Sea Turtles, Heart Animal Rescue, Shelter House, The ARC of the Emerald Coast and The ARC of Walton County.

This free event is presented as part of the Coastal Culture calendar of events, made possible by Grand Boulevard Arts & Entertainment Program. Grand Boulevard is a favorite among visitors to the Emerald Coast thanks to its Carmike Boulevard 10 which even features a dine-in theatre, several popular restaurants, exclusive shopping and manicured lawns perfect for letting little ones stretch their legs.
